I saw a spoiler for this box just a week ago or so and I knew I just had to subscribe!  I was holding my breath while opening it…hoping that it included what I wanted!

Included in the box are two cards and all the individually wrapped items.  One card details the theme and the included items, complete with retail prices.  The other card gives more detailed information about the hero item in the box, which in this case is the Badura Clutch.  The theme is Girls Night Out.

(1) Badura Clutch in Mauve, 8″ x 2″ x 5″, $250 (value from card) – I’ve linked to a similar sized clutch by Badura.  I can’t link to the same one since it was specially made for Gift Izzy.  I absolutely adore this clutch!  The Italian leather is so super soft and malleable.  The front flap is made from this multi-colored crackled leather.  In person it looks very metallic gold even though in the photo it looks more silvery.  The inside is a rich purple suede and it feels so luxe.  The back is stamped “Badura Roma Made in Italy” in gold.  None of these colors are colors I would ever wear, but there’s something about this clutch that made me just want to have it.  I really love it!

(1) Owl’s Brew in White and Vine, 8 fl oz, $9.99 – Owl’s Brew is described as “tea made for cocktails”.  I love this idea since I LOVE tea!  Here’s my problem…I love tea so much and I am so dying to try this flavor, but I’m holding back since I’m not going to be having a cocktail this evening.  White and Vine is “a blend of white tea, pomegranate, lemon peel & watermelon”.  The bottle also lists several ways to create cocktails with the Owl’s Brew.  You can mix one part tequila, vodka, or gin with two parts Owl’s Brew OR you can mix equal parts wheat beer and Owl’s Brew.  The ingredients are: fresh brewed tea (white tea with pomegranate seeds and lemon peel), organic agave, watermelon juice from concentrate, lime juice from concentrate, lemon juice from concentrate, raspberry juice from concentrate, and malic acid.  I love the very natural ingredients!  I really am holding off from making some fabulous tea inspired mocktails because I want to enjoy some real cocktails with it.  Gift Izzy also included a cocktail card from Owl’s Brew that suggests making a “The Botanist” with the White & Vine, gin, sparkling water, lime, ice, and mint.  Sounds quite refreshing!!

 (1) Victoria Duke Dramatically Sexy Lips Lipshine in Beauty Queen, .3 oz, $21 – This lip gloss smells AH-MAZING!  I couldn’t place the scent, but the girls say it’s definitely chocolate scented…I believe it since that would definitely be one of my favorite scents!  This Beauty Queen color is a relatively subdued color that goes on somewhat sheer.  Here’s a swatch from the Victoria Duke website:

Oh, and I love how it is paraben free!

Overall Impressions: When I saw the spoiler of the hero item, I knew I had to subscribe.  Even looking back at the past few boxes, I absolutely think I will be sticking around for a while since I love nearly everything they have sent.  I hope they keep it up for their future boxes!  I wouldn’t be surprised if this becomes the subscription to watch.  They haven’t been on the market for too long, but they’ve put out some pretty impressive boxes so far!  My calculated value of this month’s box comes to around $281, which is AH-MAZING since I paid just over $60 for it with the help of a coupon (found at CrateJoy.com – SAVE).  I couldn’t ask for better bang for my buck, plus three items that I like…you can’t beat that either.  The only crummy thing about this Gift Izzy subscription…I have to wait two months for the next box!  😉
